Today, I went outside my comfort zone of cool colors and decided to go bold! This is what I came up with.
I love this type of collage where there are so many things to look at.
No storms today, mowed the 2 feet tall grass! I hate when I hit dog toys with the mower, of course they are all over the yard. My dogs spoiled? Whatever gave you that idea?

This is my first attempt at a .png file. Not sure how it will turn out. Images from deviantart, brushes from deviantart and obsidiandawn.com
This is for a challenge at digital whisper blogspot with peacocks being the theme. I found my images at wiki commons, morguefile, and flickr and the brush by obsidiandawn.com.
Today is a day for doing inside things as we have been deluged by thunderstorms and buckets of rain. We really needed the rain, but not all at once!
I was taking texture pictures in the front yard when a dragonfly landed on my topiary. I was standing right next to it and got some fantastic photos. I guess I've never looked at a dragonfly that close! Here's what I did with one of the pictures.
It's time for another challenge from digital whisper, this one was an angel. I had a hard time with subject matter for this challenge. I finally found an image of satan from "Paradise Lost" by John Milton. So here is my take on angels and demons.
We had to use an image of Elvis and one of his quotes. I immediatly thought of pink cadillacs and blue suede shoes, so I sort of put them together. This is what I came up with.
Fireworks are going off over the lake, the dogs are cowering behind my chair. They hate the noise. I have to work tomorrow, lots of teeth, so little time.
I was looking for photos to use on flickr and found some of the most beautiful young girl. Her name was Doris. Her grandson graciously gave me permission to use her image. I'm really happy how it turned out.
She looks like the kind of person I would have liked to know.
